As a therapist I work with adults, young people and children (8yo+)


If you are a parent in search of support for your child and have come across my website, I want you to take a moment for yourself, just now and breathe. It is important you feel like you are making the best decision for your child, I hope to empower you to continue to support them through this process, so if during our first conversation, either of us feels that I am not quite the right fit, i will help you to figure out what you need and point you in the right direction. 


As a therapist I work with people from all walks of life, all ages and all backgrounds. I am particularly passionate about working with children and have made this the focus of my career. That being said, children exist in an adult world, which they will eventually enter, and it is our responsibility to prepare and support them on this journey. You are here because you want what is best for your child, and I am here because this is my small part in helping children to have the best start in life. The work that I will do will be an extension of your aims and goals as a parent.


I work with children on a one-to-one basis, helping them to explore their individual circumstances. No two children are the same, and every single child deserves an approach to treatment and support tailored to their individual needs. I will sit with them, listen to them, and support them to feel safe and heard, but most importantly, I will provide them with a warm and gentle space where they can learn to connect with a safe and trusted adult. In time, this bond, this alliance we build together, will be the template for repairing other relationships in their lives.


Your child is not broken; I am not here to fix them. I use a wide variety of tools and approaches to carry out the work that I do. This includes cognitive behavioural therapy, a person-centred approach, a trauma-informed approach, and compassion-focused therapy, using tools and techniques to support them to open up.

As a therapist, my goal is to work with you and help you in supporting your child. This means providing you with relevant reading materials, tools to help with behavioural issues and information on helping you to deal with the stress and strain of being a parent trying to support a child experiencing mental health issues.



I specialise in working with children, which gives me a powerful insight into the adults I work with. Each of us was once a child, and each of us, to some degree, carries the scars and bruises of that childhood. Your journey from birth to adulthood was filled with moments that shaped and defined you. Together, we can peel back the problems affecting you in the present explore their causes and put them to bed once and for all.

I believe that nothing is lacking in you. You are not broken. You are not missing something. Everything you are and everything you need is already there in you, waiting for the right moment, the right time and the right support,

Reiki & EFT combo 

EFT, like acupuncture, uses meridian points to restore energy balance by tapping instead of needles. It aims to reduce stress and negative emotions by accessing the body's energy flow and signaling the brain's stress control center. EFT, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique, has gained popularity for its simple yet effective approach to addressing emotional issues and promoting overall well-being.

By tapping on specific meridian points on the body, EFT helps to release blocked energy and restore harmony within the body's energy system. Just like acupuncture, EFT works on the principle that imbalances in the body's energy flow can lead to emotional distress and physical discomfort.

By tapping on these meridian points, individuals can alleviate stress and negative emotions, allowing the body to relax and the mind to find a sense of calm.

Through the gentle tapping motions, EFT allows individuals to connect with their body's natural energy pathways and send signals to the brain's stress control centre.

Reiki is a form of energy healing. Practitioners suggest that energy can become stagnant in the body due to physical injury or emotional distress. Over time, these energy blockages may lead to illness. Energy medicine seeks to enhance energy flow and eliminate blockages, akin to acupuncture or acupressure. Practitioners of Reiki maintain that enhancing energy circulation can promote relaxation, alleviate pain, accelerate recovery, and alleviate other illness symptoms.

. This gentle and non-invasive technique can be performed on oneself or others, and it is often accompanied by a sense of deep relaxation and peace. Many people find Reiki to be a comforting and soothing practice that complements traditional medical treatments. While scientific evidence on its effectiveness is still being studied, the anecdotal evidence of those who have experienced the benefits of Reiki continues to grow. It is a holistic approach to wellness that focuses on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

Both practices work well together by unblocking the emotion and moving it on. This is can be both an emotional and relaxing experience at the same time!
